Principal's Message 2026
(A sampling of the CVSS experience, extracted from our Socials@ IG and FB.)
2025 was a landmark year, marked by CVSS’ 25th anniversary, where we celebrated 25 years of outstanding achievements and growth. As we move into 2026, we embrace the power of “+1”.
Adding 1 to 2025 is extremely powerful! For CVSS, 2026 can be beautifully represented as (13 + 23 + 33 + 43 + 53 + 63 + 73 + 83 + 93) + 1. The integers 2 to 9, raised to the power of 3, represents the suite of skills and capabilities we have built; the integer 1 raised to the power of 3, represents the timeless, unchanging will of education. The “+1” symbolises building-on – leveraging our strengths and capabilities honed over the past 25 years to reach the next level.
What this means is that CVSS is poised to deliver learning experiences to ensure our students are World-Ready Youths. All learning in the school is organised into Six Integrated Competencies and Development Clusters and Development Clustersto ensure a close knit of the disciplines; students also gain knowledge, competencies and skillsets for world-ready relevance through our Enhanced ALP ACES (Aeronautics, Coding, Engineering), sustainability-focused LLP – Green Compass Programme, Digital Media Literacies, and Perspectives Overseas Learning Experiences.
In an era of constant flux, this total learning experience ensures our students become agile and nimble, ready to thrive in futures that are yet to be defined.
Will it be demanding? Undoubtedly. But we will be walking beside them, supporting them both cognitively and socioemotionally. Persisting through struggle and challenge is important, because this is the magic ingredient to do well in the future. The school provides a safe and controlled environment where our students – your children – can learn this vital life lesson.
Beyond the rigour, the CVSS experience is also filled with countless moments of joy, laughter and camaraderie. This is what our alumni recall fondly. A rich range of experiences and opportunities awaits all our students. From inquiry-based academic lessons to leadership roles within our myriad of school activities, students will be spoilt for choice. They only need to take the first step.
During their time in CVSS, they will learn how to learn, learn how to build lasting friendships and learn how to lead. Most importantly, they will learn to pave their own paths to realise the star within themselves.
I look forward to building this vibrant and uplifting community with everyone, where every North Star can Learn, Grow and Lead!
In partnership with you,
