The CVSS Alumni is the platform for our graduates to stay connected with the school. We hope to provide graduates with up-to-date news on the school and opportunities for you to continue serving the school through different platforms, such as your CCAs.

The CVSS Alumni aims to provide alumni:
    • a platform to stay connected with the school;
    • with up-to-date news on the school; and
    • with opportunities to continue serving the school through CCAs or other school programmes or events.

In this star, it is hoped that our alumni will be the champions of the North Star Spirit. We are also the ambassadors for CVSS, where we will be a proud representation of CVSS wherever we are and in whatever we do. We are also advocates of giving back to CVSS, where we will contribute to the school in one way or another. Lastly, we also serve to be role models for our current North Stars to emulate.

Attire and decorum when coming back to CVSS

CVSS encourages our graduates to respect the school and be good role models to our students. Hence, we appreciate that our graduates are properly attired when visiting CVSS.

Graduates who are not properly dressed (i.e. wearing revealing clothes, sleeveless and/or translucent tops, shorts and slippers) will not be allowed to enter the schoo
l.

CVSS Alumni Homecoming 2017 - Reunite!

Our very first CVSS Alumni Homecoming – Reunite! successfully concluded on 1 Jul 2017. It was a heart-warming affair as alumni from all 16 batches reunite to mingle with friends both old and new. It was also heartening to see many alumni catching up with their teachers. For more pictures on the Homecoming, do check out our FB page.

Distinguished Alumni
Some of our CVSS graduates have attained outstanding achievements during their stay at CVSS. Even after graduating from CVSS, they continue to show that they are World Ready Youths in their further studies and work. Continue to carry the North Star Spirit with you, wherever you go!

Yi Mian graduated from CVSS with 7 GCE O-Level distinctions. Yi Mian served as the vice-head of the Student Council Board and as the Red Cross Warrant Officer for Red Cross Youth at CVSS.

Her love for learning and passion for serving saw her receiving numerous awards, such as the Edusave EAGLES award, the Lee Kang Hwa Moral award and the pinnacle North Star Award 2012.

Currently, Yi Mian is pursuing her studies in Biomedical Science at Singapore Polytechnic. She is also serving and leading as the assistant sports head of the management committee of the Chemical & Life Sciences Club.

Odessa was the head of the Student Council Board and captain of the school’s netball team during her stay at CVSS. She graduated with an outstanding result of 6 GCE O-Level distinctions.

Odessa received numerous awards throughout her education at CVSS. Among the rewards that she received are the Edusave EAGLES award, the Edusave Character Award, the Outstanding Service Award and even the Lee Kang Hwa Moral Award. She was awarded the Lee Kang Hwa Award for 2 consecutive years.

Currently, Odessa is receiving her A Level education in Meridian Junior College. Her passion in sports also drives her to take up netball as a CCA.

- Tay Zhi Qian, Sec 4H, Class of 2012

Zhi Qian graduated from CVSS with 6 GCE O-Level distinctions. He was also an executive member of the Student Council Board and the chairperson of NPCC in CVSS.

During his stay CVSS, Zhi Qian received numerous awards such as the Edusave EAGLES award and the Outstanding Service Award.

Currently, Zhi Qian is receiving his A Level education in Nanyang Junior College. His passion to serve and lead sees him leading the Nanyang JC community as a student councilor. He is the secretary and treasurer of the communication committee in the student council.

Marcus was an executive member of the Student Council Board and also the leader of Boys’ Brigade in CVSS.

Marcus has received numerous awards such as the Edusave EAGLES award and the Outstanding Service Award.

Currently, Marcus is pursuing his diploma in Psychology at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. At the same time, he is also an ambassador of the School of Humanities of Social Sciences’ Outreach Team.

Emily graduated from CVSS with 5 O-Level distinctions. During her stay at CVSS, she served and led her peers as an executive committee member of the Student Council Board.

Over the years, Emily received numerous awards such as the Edusave EAGLES award, the Northeast CDC Student Award and the Outstanding Service Award.

Currently, Emily is receiving her A Level education at St Andrew’s Junior College. She is actively involved in SAJC as a Saints activist in her class. She is also currently trying her hand in bowling.

Akif was an active leader of NCC(SEA) and an executive committee member of the Student Council Board when he was studying in CVSS.

He received numerous awards, such as the Edusave EAGLES award and the Outstanding Service Award.

Currently, Akif is pursuing his tertiary education in Aerospace Technology at Ngee Ann Polytechnic. At the same time, he is serving his class as a class representative. Besides trying on a new sport – Silat, he is also applying to be a ranger of Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
